- Vancouver via Coquihalla Highway is 441 km (5 hours) away. Return airline ticket is approximately 180 CAD.
- Calgary Alberta via Trans Canada Highway is 556 km (6 hours) away. Return airline ticket is approximately 250 CAD.
- Seattle Washington USA is 550 km away. Return Airline ticket is approximately 280 CAD.
- Rental cars from Budget, Hertz, Enterprise and National at the Kelowna airport.

Direct Flights Kelowna - Europe
The first phase of the 2010 Airport Development Program is the runway extension. The runway will be extended from 7300 feet to 8900 feet in time for the 2008/09 ski season which will allow for direct intercontinental air service from such countries as the UK and Germany to depart from YLW.
